These are my top priorities because I believe they are the pillars of a strong community. Throwback to my husband and me at the start of our careers—me in medical school and him in law enforcement. Our work has always centered on serving others. That perspective is a big part of why I’m running for Crow Wing County Commissioner. If elected, I will focus full-time on the role so I can dedicate the time and energy this important position deserves.

In my healthcare leadership roles as a department head and hospital Chief of Staff, I’ve made decisions that required respect, transparency, collaboration, and accountability.

Spring in Crow Wing County is about new beginnings—and that starts with good local leadership. Today I had the chance to tour our Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office.
