Public Safety. Public Health.
These are my top priorities because I believe they are the pillars of a strong community. Throwback to my husband and me at the start of our careers—me in medical school and him in law enforcement. Our work has always centered on serving others. That perspective is a big part of why I’m running for Crow Wing County Commissioner. If elected, I will focus full-time on the role so I can dedicate the time and energy this important position deserves.

What does a county commissioner do?
“The County Board is the governing body of the County of Crow Wing. Board members, in partnership with County staff, work to ensure the delivery of services and programs essential to the continued prosperity of Crow Wing County.” Strong leadership starts with real-world experience and the right values. In my healthcare leadership roles as a department head and hospital Chief of Staff, I’ve made decisions that required respect, transparency, collaboration, and accountability.

Spring is About New Beginnings
Spring in Crow Wing County is about new beginnings—and that starts with good local leadership. Decisions are made every day at the Crow Wing County Court house about our roads, our services, and our future. I'm running for County Commissioner because I believe those decisions should be thoughtful, practical, and focused on you. I'd be honored to earn your support and represent you here.

Public Services
Today I had the chance to tour our Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office. It was great meeting the people behind the scenes and getting a better understanding of the day-to-day work that keeps our community safe. Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve also had the opportunity to connect with our Community Services and Highway Department teams. I’ve really appreciated the time each department has taken to share what they do and answer my questions. We’re fortunate to have such dedica

Why should you vote for me?
I’m a strong communicator. I’m comfortable speaking with the public, addressing large groups, and having one-on-one conversations. Middle school speech was the foundation for this ability, so shout out to Ms. D! This weekend, I was on a bus at 6:30am to judge a high school speech meet. It was heartwarming to see so many talented young people finding their voice and building confidence. Communication matters in leadership. Active listening, explaining decisions clearly, and en
